Once again I've been shown through unfortunate circumstances how precious life really is, and why you shouldn't waste your time on people who are only ever going to bring you down. I'm so glad that these specific 2 people are out of my life, and that my real friends are still here, if not in body, in spirit.

Coming to the end of another week tackling the high seas.

Bad weather bearing down on us again - expecting much of the same for a number of months to come.

First Mate Pirate was less than impressed with being kept up on deck for bunk down last night ... got a little wet out there according to the state she was in that greeted me with the rising of the sun.

The captains spirit's have increased from this time last week - looking forward to relaxing with spirits of another kind (maybe Irish) with Deckhand Dom.

Now, self, I KNOW we have talked about this. I thought we promised no more mid-week epic-sessions. Especially with Bern, Dom & Kierin. It’s like a fucking competition of who can’t say no to another drink.

On the up side - the conversation was stomache-muscle-hurting funny. Holy shit did we laugh last night.

On the down side - this morning SUCKED BALLS. And I’m still tired.
